BOTH SOLD... I finished both dress sets today, and am quite happy with how they turned out!
I had a bit of fun this evening with the photos, even though it was still sooooo hot!!

SOLD  Well, it is all finished now and I think it looks better with a couple of little embroidered touches and some tiny antique looking beads down the front.
Available in my etsy shop.

I really like making my dresses with the tulle overlay on the skirt and a little while ago I cut out a long version of the dress.  With a collar.
I was thinking that the dress would be teastained to bring it all together when it was almost finished.
Now that it is almost finished, I am not quite sure about it!!
I plan to finish it today though as the photos I shared on flickr were pretty well received.  So perhaps it is more a case of the dress not turning out as I thought it would and so it's just a matter of accepting that and getting on with it!!  I really want to make some more of the long ones, so hopefully when this one is finished, I will like the end result and be inspired to keep going with some more.
Anyway, here are a couple of photos and hopefully by tonight, there will be photos of the finished product and I can list it in my shop.

Pretty as a Picture...SOLD!

lightly tea-stained, printed seersucker dress for Blythe.
I have used a gorgeous, fine vintage lace and silk ribbon with shimmery beads down the front of the dress.  It has a rough-edged bow tied from the same tea-stained fabric stitched at the base of the ribbon on the bodice.
I have made a petticoat to help emphasize the babydoll style of the dress and it comes with tea-stained pink socks.
Please see my etsy shop for more details or to purchase.

Finished my...
little creative photoshop course.  I did it online with the Open Universities at RMIT.

These were my favourite assignment pieces I did...
this was my final assignment which I wasn't really keen on doing, but it did grow on me!!

These two were my ultimate favs, I really enjoyed trying to pass off the unreal as real.  SO much fun!

I received high distinctions for all my assignments, so I'm quite proud of myself - ha ha!!
Just got to figure out what to do next.
If anyone has any suggestions for someone who wants to do retouching as a career, in terms of courses or work experience, that would be GREAT!!!  I think I need some career guidance, because I don't really have much of an idea.  I sort of know what I would like to do, but I don't really know how to get there.

Playing with...
This one is for my eldest daughter - her colour choice.  This fur is soooo hard to work with though!  The fluff ends up EVERYWHERE!!
